Hey crafters! I’m still crafting like mad using the new Spellbinders die – my head is just exploding with ideas, and I want to show you just how versatile these dies can be. You know me mainly from coloring, but it’s so much fun to tip my (creative) toes into something else for a change.

For this card, I wanted the die-cuts to have a texture, something entirely different than I could achieve with my regular coloring mediums. I hadn’t used my Gilding Flakes in a while, so that was the perfect opportunity.
Alternatively, you could also use embossing paste, Nuvo Mousse, or embossing powder – though in each case, make it has all dried completely before die-cutting! In case of embossing paste or mousse, I’d also advice to only use a thin layer, and maybe touch it slightly with a dry towel or something else that has a lot of structure to imprint that onto the wet surface.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!
