Hey crafters! Back at the end of last year, I was struggling to get back into the crafty spirit after an almost year-long break. What helped me tremendously was to look at cards by my favorite crafters, and then CASEing them. And Francine Vuillème is always one of the first blogs I hit since I adore her projects.

The project I am sharing today features a cute stamp by Purple Onion Designs which I had colored previously, just as a coloring exercise, and then needed to use on a project. Since I was short on ideas, I perused Francine’s blog and found this gorgeous card:
I loved how she had one area of intense color, which was reflected in the stamped images, but Francine kept the rest of the card plain. For my project, that meant I had to reflect the color green in my project, as this was the main color (in the bunny’s hat). I used a My Favorite Things background stamp to create my own patterned paper in a shade that matched my Copic color.
I used clouds where Francine placed the baubles, and since I’m a fan of glitter, I used some Tonic Nuvo Drops for subtle accents. I also used Tonic Glitter Dust on the bunny’s hat – I colored the stripes with my Copic marker first, then added some Glossy accents on top and just poured glitter on top. You’ll have to give it a few hours to dry, and then you can gently knock and rub off any excess glitter.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!
