Hello and welcome back, crafty friends! As those who follow me on Instagram or Facebook might have noticed, I’m currently playing along with the #thedailymarker30day challenge and today’s card is a result from this color frenzy. 😉
I grabbed this super cute digi image by Gerda Steiner designs and printed it on Neenah Dolar White card stock. Since I hadn’t given my Copics a lot of excercise recently, I grabbed them and colored in these super cute critters. Since the image is pretty small, that was done in about 10–15 minutes (I’m fiddly, I just have to go back over and over before I am happy).
Since I like the result so much, I trimmed the piece down with the smaller one of the Mama Elephant Femme Frames dies, then used a Christmas stamp set for the green branches and a floral set for the flowers. To set if off against the white card base, I used my new MFT Gingham background stamp which I inked up with three different shades of yellow and then applied to the card front.
I just love soft yellows and greens for spring, so I’m really happy about how this turned out. Two tiny gems in the center of the big flowers and I was done.
Hope you enjoyed today’s card! Thanks for stopping by!
