Today’s a super special day: I get to introduce to you the first ever clear stamp set by Gerda Steiner Designs! You might have seen me use her digi stamps and red rubber stamps before, and now there are clear stamps as well. They are super high quality polymer and stamp just as beautifully as your Lawn Fawn or Mama Elephant stamps. So let’s get on with it:
I really like this “Late But With Love” stamp set because it’s incredibly versatile: you have your critters to color in, a balloon outline which you can always use on almost anything, and super cute cupcake and lots of numbers. Now, what I hadn’t realized before getting the set: there are also two tiny stamps that totally confused me at first. Turns out, if you add them to the bottom of the numbers, you can turn them into a balloon. If you add the other tiny stamp to the top of the numbers, you can turn them into a candle! Isn’t that amazing?
The sentiments in this set to great with the images: both critters are no necessarily best known for their speed, so if you ever forgot a birthday or something else, this set will help you throw together a super cute cards that will hopefully pacify the recipient 😉 You could even put the snail on the outside of your envelope … literally, “snail mail”, hehe.
The Gansai water colors I’m using are really impressive. I’ve been using other brands so far, but this one allows you to create really saturated, thick coats of color which I was aiming for here. I’m also using a new die set from Wplus9 which, to my delighted surprise, coordinates nicely with my most beloved die set “Femme Frames” by Mama Elephant.
I hope you enjoyed the card and the video – keep an eye on Gerda Steiner’s shop, I know for a fact that there will be a few more clear stamp sets coming out really soon and they’ll blow you away.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have a fantastic day!
