Hello guys! I’m back, as promised, with another card showcasing the “Large Die of the Month” subscription kit (the February edition) by Spellbinders. Today’s card uses just one single die from the set, and I kept it as clean as I could, even though it might not be simplest design 🙂
Those of you that took my Altenew class last November might recognize the design – it’s something I had shown during that class, because the concept of white die cuts on a white card base just appeals to me. It’s the epitome of “clean”, and with just one colored element, the effect is quite striking (imagine this as a wedding card!).
Once more, I was using glitter to add shine to my project, but this time the glitter was already colored, I didn’t use any markers to color the glitter after the fact. If you don’t have glitter (oh my gosh, you are missing out!) or don’t like using it (come one, you will be sparkling like diamonds 😉 ), you can of course also use embossing powders, or simply markers to color up your die cut.
Since I didn’t want to distract from the wonderful, intricate die cut, I opted for a simple sentiment and just a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins that complemented the elegant design and colors.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!
