Hello everyone! I’m back with another card I made for Purple Onion Designs, using some stamps from their recent release. This time, I was inspired by my crafty friend Sonja from The Art of Stamping – she often uses different formats for her cards, and I ventured past the standard A2 size to create a more long-ish design – and I like it!
I simply stamped the images with MFT Hybrid ink using my MISTI and some cling film so the rubber stamps would stick, and then colored them with Stabilo Watercolor Pencils to get a soft look. The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine pigment ink.
One word about affiliate links: the service I was using in the past is no longer and the new service replacing it will cost me at least USD15/month. I hope you guys understand that I can’t afford paying 3x as much for nice links, out of pocket (it’s USD180/year!). So, for that reason, I’ll only be linking to the main products from now on, and linking in the blog post itself. Sorry for that, but that’s the only way I can do it.
And another note on my continued absence: work has been crazy – in the best way possible. I’ve answered about 10K email since mid-May (such is the life of a support person) and we still have miles and miles to go. But we’re having a great time, and the team is energized and it’s a ton of fun. Due to the super heavy workload, I don’t really have time to craft, but I do have a few more cards up my sleeve 🙂 Every girl needs a crafty break now and then…
