Hello fellow crafters! I am back with CAS-ual Fridays today, and today is a very special day, for numerous reasons. First, CAS-ual Fridays is releasing a brand new stamp set to celebrate Cancer Awareness month. And second, it’s the one year anniversary of Michele’s – the CAS-ual Fridays owner – diagnosis of cancer. She beat it, and I think that warrants oodles of good wishes!
Last year, Michele released a stamp set that also featured a bow but had tons of tiny little flowers. This year, we get a bow with lots of encouraging and supportive words. I decided that, instead of stamping it in great detail, I’d go for a more artful approach and use my gilding flakes (again).
I stamped the bow with Flitter Glue directly on my card base, then covered it with gilding flakes. Make sure to clean your stamp immediately so it won’t get damaged. As usual, first rub off any gilding excess off your card with your finger, and then use the scrubbing tool to remove additional excess.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! We also have a little hop for you and you can win the new CASual Fridays Stamps release for commenting along the blog hop. This includes a NEW Calling All Sistahs style stamp set!
- Comments must be made by 12:00am EST on October 19th, 2016 to qualify.
