Hello crafters! Today I have a fun video tutorial for you, and additionally a freebie digi stamp! Actually, I’ve got two. My crafty friend Jessa, also known as Useless Trinkets, has released two new digi stamps for free and we are celebrating with a hop! Please join us, and have fun!
For my card, I wanted to keep a white outline around the monster, but I also wanted to use my distress colors to create an autumnal blend of colors. For the longest time, I puzzled because I could not figure out how to do both – until it hit me that I should do it in two steps, instead of trying to achieve everything in one go. That’s why I suck at video games, I always like to take the straight path 😉
All I did was print out the images on Simon Says Stamp heavy card stock, and have my Scan n Cut cut them all out for me. All of them had white border, except for one. I just glued that one one top of one with a white border – voila! So easy it’s almost embarrassing I didn’t see that option sooner!
As usual, Jessa is also providing quite a few fun sentiments with her images, and the one I used just cracked me up. Hope the recipient will laugh, too, otherwise I’ll have to blame Jessa for losing friends 😉
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired! Please hop on along to the other participants in the hop to see what they have created. There are so many different crafters with so many different styles, I’m sure you’ll get really inspired!

I’m sending this cutie off to the following challenges: CASology “Cute” (I mean, he is, isn’t he?!), Stempelküche 54 “Autumn” because I colored him like a leaf in autumn, Freshly Made Sketches #258 (very loose interpretation, but hey, it’s art!), and Simon Says Stamp “Anything Goes”.
