Hello crafters! I am back with some more guest posts for Whimsy Stamps! Today I am going to show you how I used the same stamp and die set in different ways to create a set of Thank You cards.
The first card was very easy to make and only required a bit of measuring before I started so the die cut openings would be evenly spaced. Nothing worse for a CAS card then being off center 🙂
By foam mounting the die-cut panel on my distressed background, you can peek underneath the panel and this dimension really makes the card feel special. Well, and the Perfect Pearls shimmer I spritzed onto my background.
My second card uses one of the new dies to create an interesting pattern through which the Distress Ink is visible. Other than that there’s just one stamped word and lots of sequins for sparkle.
And my last card uses a horizontal layout. By masking off an area, I am able to create a very clear segment of color which draws in the focus onto the heat embossed sentiment.
