Sparkly greetings, crafters! Today’s card with stamps from CAS-ual Fridays is sparkly and shimmery and just a joy for everyone who enjoys metallics. I am using my favorite metallic pigment inks from Delicata to create a simple, quick project that will make every recipient go “Awwwww!”.
The main focus are of course the gorgeous florals from the Pretty Posies stamp set, which I am stamping with both the Delicata Silver and Gold pigment inks. These inks are amazing: contrary to many metallic pigment inks, these are rich and give perfect impressions on the first try. I am not using any other metallic inks anymore but these, and I hope to get my mittens on the other colors they have released. If you know anyone at Tsukineko, have them give me a call, will ya? 😉
I had originally intended to stamp the sentiment with black pigment ink from Versafine, but forgot and stamped it in clear Versamark. I usually don’t like to use black embossing powder because you have to be really careful with it, but thanks to my embossing buddy this worked out beautifully!
I added some patterned paper to the card base and then mounted my panel on foam to give it some dimension and voila – clean and simple design. Of course, then I just had to add a touch of color (could’t help myself) and very carefully added some green with a Copic marker.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!
