Hello crafty friends! I’m so happy that I get to stay with the Pretty Pink Posh design team for another term, and we are welcoming some new ladies to the team! Like in the past, we have a little guessing game for you to match each designer with a previous project they’ve shared – and you can win an amazing prize if you get it right!
I’m sharing more details about the guessing game and the new designers below, but I also wanted to take the chance to show you another card featuring Pretty Pink Posh stamps and dies, in combination with Concord & 9th products. The dies and stamps are just so beautiful and I could not stop crafting. Today’s project shows off the beautiful intricate butterfly die by Concord & 9th and the Scallop Circle die by Pretty Pink Posh which is perfect for framing scenes or focal images:
I started off by preparing my card base and panel by covering regular card stock with linen paper – I just love the texture it adds to cards. I used my distress tool and distress inks to blend some colors, then spritzed them with Perfect Pearls – adding water this way makes the color run a bit and blends it more easily. If you have trouble creating watercolor background, try this method, it really works well!
I die cut the butterfly shape out of card stock that I had covered with Stick It on one side and sprinkled with Elizabeth Craft Designs Glitter. Since this is a very intricate die, I also used my adapter plate to make sure it would cut through all the extra layers (paper, stick it, glitter).
I am absolutely delighted about how the card turned out and I can’t wait to send it off to someone to sparkle up their day. Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!
And my little fluttery project goes off to Addicted To Stamps and More “CAS” and Simon Says Stamp “Anything Goes”.
Now, on to our design team! Here’s a list all the awesome designers which will inspire you over the next few months with Pretty Pink Posh creations:
We are welcoming Melody, Amy L., and Joy as newcomers to the team and I can’t wait to see what they will create. Of course they have used Pretty Pink Posh products in the past, so here’s a little guessing game for you – if you match each designer with one of the cards below, and post your guess on the Pretty Pink Posh blog, you can win a $100 gift certificate!
I am allowed to give you a hint what my card is: The letter matching my card occurs twice in my last name (consecutively) and my card is at the bottom. Now, that’s my clue 🙂 Hop on over to the Pretty Pink Posh blog to find the links to all the other designers, who will also give you tips on which card is theirs. Easiest way ever to win $100!
I’ve listed the products used for this project below. If possible, I link to Seven Hills Crafts for all European Crafters. Alternative shopping outlets linked to are Amazon US and Simon Says Stamp. Click here to learn more about which companies I am affiliated with.
