This is my second post for today. If you are looking for the CAS-ual Fridays holiday release post, please scroll down. Hello crafters! I have discovered my love for inlay-diecuts again, as you might have noticed. Today I want to show you how you can use many tiny stamps to camouflage a die-cut so you don’t even spot it right away. Let’s make our card-recipients work a bit to discover our message to them, right? 🙂
Even though I am using the MISTI in my video, please know that you do not need to use a MISTI for this technique! Everything that you do with a MISTI can also be done with regular stamping tools – the MISTI simply makes stamping-life a bit easier and in this project, allowed me to pick up several stamps at once. A large acrylic block will get the job done just as well.
I’ve also discovered that I like to add a thin strip of patterned paper to my projects, just for contrast. This card would have worked fine on its own, but by adding just that tiny bit of contrast with the black stripes at the bottom, it pops a little bit more. You guys know how timid patterned paper makes me, but adding it in small doses really does work nicely for me, yay!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!
