Hello crafty friends! I am back with another guest design post for Whimsy Stamps and after the colorful card last week, I went into the opposite direction today and created something very clean and simple.
The only tricky challenge here was to align the sentiment perfectly into the window I had die-cut with my Pretty Pink Posh oval dies. My Stamp-A-Ma-Jig was super useful here; if you have a clear stamp it’s of course much easier to accomplish, but don’t let that deter you from using rubber stamps. There are some gorgeous ones out there.
In order for my card to really have the desired effect I opted to have only one colorful element, which are the flip-flops (and the sequins from Pretty Pink Posh in matching colors). Everything else is black-and-white, which draws the focus exactly where I want it to go.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!
I’ve listed the products used for this project below. If possible, I link to Seven Hills Crafts for all European Crafters. Alternative shopping outlets linked to are Amazon US and Simon Says Stamp. Click here to learn more about which companies I am affiliated with.
