Hello crafty friends! It’s time again to play with my Purple Onion Designs stamps. Actually, I had colored this little fella earlier this year for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, but only now got around to put her on a card.
I started by stamping the kite on a piece of white paper and then cut a panel from it, making sure that the kite would extend beyond the top edge. No special reason except for – why not? 🙂 I colored it and the rabbit with Polychromos pencils. If you are not following me on Instagram, here’s a tidbit for you: I colored the rabbit pink at first. Yep. Just because I wanted to see how it looked like, but I didn’t like so I turned it brown. Took a few layers, but it’s amazing how much I can do with my colored pencils.
I cut a piece of white card stock with Lawn Fawn’s Grassy Border die to set the scene and then sprinkled a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins on the card for some sparkle. I decorated the card base with a background stamp by My Favorite Things and added contrast by matting my white panel against some dark grey card stock.
I hope you like this card and check out the stamps over at Purple Onion Designs. It’s one of my favorite brands, hands down, and you can combine the different stamps freely to create endless scenes.
Cheers! I’m sending this card off to Addicted To Stamps and More “Make Your Mark”.
