Hello crafters! Today it’s all about making those tiny stamps work for you and I’m using stamps and dies by CAS-ual Fridays. It also involves a bit of fussy cutting if you don’t have a cutting machine like the Scan ’n Cut, but hey – the final look is totally worth it!
I started by stamping the tiny florals on Copic friendly paper and then colored them with some basic yellow shades – obviously, you can use any colors you want here! I let the ink dry and then cut them out, ending up with a handful of flowers. I used a tiny leaf stamp from Autumn Blessings and stamped the leaf multiple times on the same paper and then also cut that out.
Using the Bubble Box die I die cut a window in my card and before adhering it to the card base stamped my sentiment – CAS-ual Fridays has some of the most beautiful fonts for sentiments, don’t you think? I also grabbed my Ranger Lemon Twist ink pad and ran it along the edges of my card base to tie in the yellow of the flowers and have some contrast for the white panel.
The the puzzling started with the flowers and leaves. I re-arranged them quite a bit and once I had an arrangement I liked, I adhered them with tape, glue, and foam. As a finishing touch, I added some dots which a white gel pen to the petals of the flowers.
