Hi crafty friends! I have more inspiration for you today featuring the March release by Pretty Pink Posh. I’m combining the new stamps and dies with older Pretty Pink Posh products to show once more how well they work together.
My first project is wonky – and I’m going to claim this is totally intentional. After all, it’s supposed to be cute and cheerful – I had to dig deep through my patterned paper stack to find these wonderful pastel patterns – and strict straight lines didn’t seem to agree with that.
The opening for my bird was cut with one of the new dies released in March and it’s perfect for any type of window or shaker card. There are two sizes of this shape in one die set so you can also create smaller apertures if that fits your design better.
My second project was supposed to be completely silly and it still makes me chuckle. I used the new Scallop Circle dies to create the circle in the center and then used the new stamp set for the images.
I wanted the empty nest to symbolize that I was missing whomever I would sent that card to, but that seemed too empty when I put the card together initially. So, I stamped and fussy cut one of the tiny birds and added him behind the circle in the center, just peeking out.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired! This card goes off to Simon Says Stamp “Cute and Cuddly”!
I’ve listed the products used for this project below. If possible, I link to Seven Hills Crafts for all European Crafters. Alternative shopping outlets linked to are Amazon US and Simon Says Stamp. Click here to learn more about which companies I am affiliated with.
