Hi crafters! I have a clean and simple project for you today using some of my stamps by Purple Onion Designs. As you know, Purple Onion Designs sells most stamps separately and not in sets, and I am constantly amazed at how well they all work together. The possibilities seem sheer endless.
I started out by stamping the branch using my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. Correct placement was very important to me because I would later add an embossed border on the card. I then used the tool to exactly place the squirrel on the branch – I swear, the ten or fifteen Euros I spent on the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig were one of my best crafty investments.
I colored the branch and the squirrel with my Copic markers, keeping it pretty simple. I didn’t want to do anything fancy because I am looking for ways to have cards with coloring that doesn’t take me hours. Sometimes, I am just in the mood for something quick and this card came together nicely.
Lastly, I used my Scor-board to create the embossing lines and to frame my card. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine pigment ink and then I poured some WOW Black Glint embossing powder on top and it looks just awesome when you tilt it in the light.
Hope you enjoyed today’s project! Catch you again later! This card goes off as a last minute entry to Simon Says Stamp “Anything Goes”.
