This is one card that I have been looking forward to for quite some time, since I’ve had the idea for months. But then Christmas came. Now we finally arrived in the new year, spring is on the horizon (and we never had winter) so it’s okay to finally go colorful and cheerful again.
I also finally got my Distress Markers out again and applied them directly to the clear stamp. This is one fun technique which allows you to add different colors to one solid image.
You could either leave it just as is or use a fine brush to activate the watercolor and smooth out the stamped image. It depends entirely on the look you are going for. And if you want to intensify the colors, simply grab the same markers and go over the parts of the image that you want to make more vibrant.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you got inspired to try this technique and that you’ll enjoy it 🙂 Have a fantastic day!
This card goes off to Simon Says Stamp “Anything Goes”.
