Do you know this: you intend for your card to stay clean and simple, and when you’re done, it’s everything but that? My plan for this card had been to only use the fire stamp and color it in, but when I was in the zone, I just ended up creating the background as well 🙂
Since I explained everything in the video, I won’t go into details anymore here in the blog post but only show you a few close ups of the card.
Some of you have asked me recently if the coloring I had done on other cards with my Polychromos also works with Prismacolor pencils and the answer is a resounding yes. As I have explained in detail here and here, the two pencil brands can even be used together. Their finish a bit different, but you can blend them both the same.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and got inspired! Have a fantastic day!
I have a quick announcement for you as well: I’ll be having a fantastic giveaway early February with some great coloring mediums. I have so many markers and pencils here, I end up not using all of them. Instead of them sitting in a drawer I though I’d be delighting some of you by gifting them to you. Interested? Then make sure you have subscribed to my blog because you really don’t want to miss out on winning some Alcohol Markers and Colored Pencils!
I’m sending this card off to Addicted To Stamps and More “Make Your Mark”.
