Hi crafty friends! Tomorrow is christmas here in Germany. I am home with my family already, decking out the tree and wrapping presents, and this is my second to last christmas card to share during this holiday season with you.
I masked off portions of my card with masking paper (or you can use post it notes, much cheaper) and then used Distress Ink to create my background. I just love peeling back the masking paper afterwards and admiring the crisp lines of the colored area. Little things, much joy 😉
Since the Distress Ink was still a bit moist, I used my antistatic powder before stamping the flake and sentiment by CAS-ual Fridays with Versamark ink and pouring my embossing powder on top. Thanks to the antistatic, it worked perfectly.
That was a really quick and easy card to make, and I just love the shimmer and glitter from the embossing powder, especially on the gorgeous font of the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by today, and see you tomorrow for my last christmas card!
