Today I’m shaking it up, crafters, and I mean that quite literally. Not only does Pretty Pink Posh have amazing dies, sequins, and stamps – but they also have very tiny seed beads which are perfect for shaker cards, especially for small apertures.
I created a set of a card and a matching tag on grey card stock so the colors of my floral images would pop. Yes, I used floral stamps for my “ornaments”. The stamp set is by Papertrey Ink and while I die cut the blossoms, I fussy cut the leaves (can you tell I made these a while ago, before I had my Scan ’n Cut?).
I especially enjoyed stamping the floral background with white pigment ink on the card – it looks so crisp and yet muted, perfect for the background. Adding the seed beads to the center of the florals was a bit tricky because I didn’t have a lot of space to adhere my acetate, but after a few mis-tries I finally managed it.
And of course I love the stitching on the Pretty Pink Posh tag die – it’s a signature of the brand, and I feel it just adds the right of amount of specialness to an otherwise ordinary shape. And the tag is large enough to add a note note on the back for the recipient.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you got inspired! See you again soon!
