Ho ho ho, crafters! No worries, the big day isn’t here yet, but there’s nothing wrong with getting a head start, right? Today I am proudly participating the 25 Days of Christmas Tags even by the wonderful Tracey McNeely and my tag is made with some gorgeous CAS-ual Fridays supplies.
I started out by die cutting a tag with the beautiful scalloped tag die from kraft card stock. The sentiment was stamped with white pigment ink, but I found that it wasn’t intense enough (after I had finished my card so I couldn’t emboss it anymore) so I grabbed a white gel pen and carefully traced all the letters. It’s not as hard as you might think, just take your time.
The twigs were die cut with the new Acorn Fri-Dies set from different green card stocks. I added a few white dots to give the illusion of falling snow, then glued the twigs together and tied some twine around it. The snowflakes in the background were stamped with Delicata Gold and white pigment ink, just to add some interest.
I hope you got inspired! This tags was very easy to make and it’s really gorgeous in real life and would be perfect for a little gift like a coffee mug or a box of hot chocolate.
Thanks for stopping by today and leaving a comment, it means the world to me!
Oh, this is so pretty! I love anything on kraft!
Pretty tag, Julia. Thanks for the inspiration.
I LOVE your videos Julia! Keep them coming!
This mistletoe is just the best little tag I’ve seen! Got to copy this one for sure.
When you and CAS-ual Fridays get together wonderful things happen and so is your tag 🙂
Love the pine needles on your sweet tag…good idea to go over your sentiment with gel pen. Looks terrific and Christmas-y.
Beautiful tag. I getting ready to start making tags for the holiday season.

LOVE your BEAUTIFUL colours & design, especially with your bunch of twigs and spots of snow!!! I just bought some of these white pens and look forward to adding an extra touch of AWESOME to my projects and maybe even braving white sentiments, now that I can fix them.
