It’s Friday, and that means another video for The Alley Way Stamps for you today! I’m using a new stamp set which was released this month, and it’s called “Big Time”. It has fantastic huge sentiments which can be the main focal image of your entire card.
As you can see, the Letterpress did a fantastic job as a stamp positioning tool for this card. I simply inked up each letter individually and since neither the stamp nor the panel ever shifted, I was able to stamp the entire sentiment seamlessly.
The patterned paper add some interest since the rest of the card is, well, quite white. And I couldn’t help myself, I added some faux highlights on the letters with a white gel pen, let that dry a bit, and then added glossy accents on top. So much fun! And it looks fantastic!
Last but not least I added a few sequins by Pretty Pink Posh and drew some black dots – I usually do white or colorful dots, but since I needed contrast here, I went with black and I think it turned out rather nice. At least, it’s different 🙂
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you liked the project!
