I’m popping in today with the really quick post, but lots of pictures. A colleague of mine and his wife celebrated their birthdays in the past week, and what better gift to give them (after they had explicitly said the didn’t want anything) than a box of handmade cards 🙂
And since Father’s Day and Mother’s Day are coming up, the theme for the cards was already set. I got up at the crack of dawn on Saturday in order to get the cards done by the evening’s festivities.
I added a little description to each photo, and you can find the full list of supplies I used at the end of the post.
I’m also submitting some of these cards to the following challenges: the very first card, on which I’m using Papertrey Ink supplies, is going to the colorQ challenge which provided the color combination. I’m entering all of the cards as a set into the current Inkspire Me challenge which is asking for cards for mothers or fathers day. And the male cards are going off to the Creative Friday challenge, which is asking for male or boy cards.
