Hello crafters and fellow cat lovers! Today I have yet another card created with the Gerda Steiner Designs clear stamps set “Playful Kitten”. The stamp that I’m using today was actually inspired by my own cat, Sissy, and I’m sure each and every one of you who has a cat at home knows that they love to hide underneath blankets or clothes.
This was the photo that I send Gerda and that inspired her. When I took this photo, I had been searching for Sissy high and low for about 10 minutes. I needed to get to work but I wanted to make sure that I would not accidentally lock her into a room where she couldn’t get out of. Of course Madame never made a beep until I finally noticed the bump underneath the blanket and tapped it.
For this card, I opted to go with a square card base since that would allow me to have equal distance from my diecut circle to each edge. The cat was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with Copic markers.
I also used the little paw print to create my own pattern underneath the circle. It’s just a little detail, but I thought it looked better than leaving it blank.
And that’s it for today already. I hope you enjoyed the cards are shared with the stamps it. There are even more cats there that you could use for cute and funny cards.
Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon!
