Hello crafters! I’m popping in to share a quick and easy card today using the Gerda Steiner Designs “Late but with Love” clear stamp set. Since I absolutely love the cute cupcake, I wanted to make him the star of the show.
I decided on some pigment rainbow colors to keep the card happy and festive. Whenever I inked up the stamp, I simply wiped off the part so it would be easy to “stack” the cupcakes. You could do masking, but this was really easy and it sped up the process considerably. To give the card a bit more color, I added a few stars with the same colors as the cupcakes and sprinkled them across the card.
Once I thought I was done I still felt like the card lacked contrast. My trusty Micron Pen came to the rescue (any black fine tip pen will work) and I drew a few squiggly border lines. I didn’t want them perfect (not that I would have been able to draw them straight).
That’s it for today! Super easy and quick to make bright and cheerful card. I’m sending this card off to the following challenges: Cupcake Inspirations: 300th Challenge; Inkspiration Sprinkle (since I sprinkled the stars across the card).
See ya soon with the next card! Thanks for stopping by.
