Today I’m sharing some last minute crafting with you – I’m applying for a Guest Designer spot on the Create A Smile team. Create A Smile is a German company that makes their own stamps, stencils, patterned papers, and many more treats. Since I’m German, I can’t help but to watch in awe as they grow and expand their product line, and they do have some amazing products.
Not sure if I stand a chance for the Guest Designer spot, considering the amazing talent that is currently submitting projects for it, but here we go:
I stamped the sentiment by Hampton Art first, then masked it off and stamped the monster from Create A Smile twice. Now it looks like they peek out from behind the sentiment.
I love the monsters because you can give them so much dimension by using very dark shading. Actually, I created two layers of color to deepen up the first layer. Some white gel pen and the monsters have cute little dots that accent them.
I stamped one of the sentiment from the stamp set on the inside in Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it. So, now when the recipient opens up the card – surprise! 🙂
Apart for the Create A Smile GDT call, I’ll also be sending this card off to: MarkerPOP Anything Goes and the brand new Addicted To Stamps and More challenge which invites everyone for Anything Goes; well and Simon Says asks for Creatures Great and Small – I’m not sure how big those monsters are, but I’m sure they’ll fit into one of the categories 😀
Hope you enjoyed the card and thanks for stopping by. Your comments make my day!
