You can never have too many ink colors. I think most if not all of us crazy crafters would agree with that statement, but alas: the budget doesn’t always allow us to pursue our desires. So,when push comes to shove, which ink pad to choose? You may need a purple or a green, yet it can be difficult to discern how other ink colors compare to what you have.
That makes selecting new ink colors rather difficult for me. For example, where is the difference between Soft Yellow, Soft Vanilla, and Butterbar in the Hero Arts color spectrum? If you struggle just like me, I hope that my post will help you pick the perfect next color for your collection.
What to expect
- All ink swatches have been photographed in natural sunlight.
- The images have not been changed digitally except for being trimmed down to remove the mess in my craft room that was showing 😉
- Depending on the screen you are seeing this on or printer (if you print it) the colors might display differently than in real life. Yet any bias that’s introduced by your device will apply to all the colors so overall, you should be able to make comparisons.
