Having recently taken the Online Card Class “Watercolor”, I am still in the mood where I want to watercolor everything. It’s amazing how much inspiration I got from that class, and there are still many techniques I haven’t even tried yet, let alone mastered.
Having seen what the amazing Kristina Werner has done with stamps made specifically for watercoloring, I couldn’t help but buy the same set and have a go at the technique.
I think for my first attempt, this is ok, but I feel that there is much room for improvement and I’m looking forward to experiment with this set and the colors; for example do an autumn version or even a winter version.
For the sentiment, I used my new Altenew stamps and stamped them with colored Versafine ink. Since it’s a pigment ink, it was wet long enough to pour some sparkling clear embossing powder on top of it; in real-life, the shimmer is amazing!
I stamped a border stamp from Mama Elephant in Memento Luxe pigment ink on the green card base (just so it wouldn’t be boring blank) and glued the watercolor panel to the front. Tadaa, done!
