One of the blogs that inspires me most is “Simplicity” by Susan Raihala. Her cards are just mind-blowing: her combination of white space and graphical elements is art. I wish I could one day be half as talented as she is.
Today’s card is an attempt to combine a very minimalistic design with an intense color scheme to create a clean and simple card.
This card was made for a very special person who was incredibly kind and helpful to me (and if international mail won’t let us down, she should receive the card next week) and I hope she’ll enjoy it.
The pearls were just a concession to the need of some bling on the card. Also, I used Simon Says Stamp paper for the first time and I am really impressed with it – it’s very smooth, exactly the right weight and a wonderful warm white color.

I’ll be entering this card into the following challenges: Less Is More #171 “Thank You”; One Layer Simplicity #5 “Fabulous Flowers”; Crazy 4 Challenges #235 “Bingo” (Flowers + Sentiment + Bling); and of course the CAS-ual Fridays #131 challenge “Three Thirds”.
