You know when you sometimes create something and you don’t really know where the idea for the project came from? Yeah, that happened to me here. I was happily making my first card in my crazy series for the Cure for the Monday Blues challenge when I suddenly saw this card in my mind and scribbled down the concept.
I wanted to keep it super simply, but also bold (and thereby stretching the challenge boundaries a bit) and I think it worked rather nicely and so the fifth card of my little personal challenge came about.
When I stamped the sentiment on top of the stamped brush strokes the colored pigment ink reacted with the Versafine black pigment ink and it looks like I painted over the words, when in fact they were stamped on top. Super neat effect.
