Ever since I first stumbled across them, I’ve fallen in love with Wplus9’s stamp and die sets. I just love how they enable you to combine multiple stamps to create one image.
The stamp set I had originally wanted was out of stock everywhere, so I decided to get the “Blanket Stitched Blooms” set with some nice sentiments to send to someone who’s sick or just a little blue. I wish I wouldn’t have to use one of these cards so soon, though.
This card was inspired by Jean Martin. I love the pink-green color combination; I wouldn’t have thought of that myself, to be honest. I heat embossed the pattern on the back and then assembled the card. The dies matching the stitched blossoms come in really handy here.
This card is a one layer card with some masking inspired by Sarah Martina Parker. I really enjoyed building the flowers, but I realized here that I didn’t like the Memento red ink at all compared to the Hero Arts Shadow inks. The Hero Arts inks look blotchy when wet, but dry to a beautifully smooth finish. The Memento inks come in great colors, but they can look blotchy on solid images.
