I’m planning to surprise my colleagues at work with some treats on Halloween. Thanks to my local Stampin’ Up Demo Ramona from ScrapStüble I learned how to quickly assemble some small boxes with lids and how to make a banderole to fit around it. She showed me how to make a christmas box, I applied it to my Halloween theme.
I used some basic black and orange card stock for the boxes and the banderoles. Stealing a decorating idea from Ramona, I used some of my stamp sets to decorate the banderoles and to create the tags (see list below). In total, I created 12 boxes (11 colleagues and one for me 🙂 ) and that took about 5 evenings.
Why so long? Surprisingly enough, creating the tags and the decoration for the tags took longest; I used silver embossing powder, had to die cut all the circles and scalloped circles and put it together. But I had a lot of fun 🙂
